Education in the Arts & Sciences - the humanities and the natural and social sciences – is at the heart of our Jesuit tradition at Saint Joseph’s University. The College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) provides all students with an introduction to a liberal education, a fundamental characteristic of the centuries-old Jesuit philosophy that aims to develop the whole person. In addition, the CAS offers interested students the opportunity to build upon this foundation by pursuing an Arts & Sciences concentration, choosing a major from among those offered in fields that run the gamut from actuarial science to theology.
